Two young adults emerge in an enclosed space, a shelter to them, a refuge where they can catch their breath and get to know each other. They come from two foreign countries, having likely crossed paths on the journey that brought them to the borders of Europe. Lulu is on his own, Baya as well. He doesn’t know where he is going; she has come to search for her brother, from whom she has had no news. Time stands still for them, just before they set out to face the uncertain future that they have each chosen in exile. Will they part ways once again, returning to the solitude of the journey? Or will they join forces to confront the hostility of this unfamiliar world they are discovering?
